About the Photographer

My interest in photography began in the 1980s with a Canon AE-1 SLR and a small closet converted into a one-person standing darkroom. What started as a personal hobby quickly became a lasting creative outlet. Over the years, I photographed family moments, joined a local photography club, and even captured a few weddings before the demands of my regular career limited the time I could give to photography.

After a long career in modular construction as a design manager and project manager I retired. During my career I traveled to job sites across the world seeing different places and landscapes. That travel helped renew my appreciation for the natural world, the variety of landscapes I encountered, and the quiet details often missed in passing.

Now retired, I have returned to photography with a Nikon DSLR system and a renewed focus on nature, wildlife, landscapes, and moments that feel worth preserving. I also follow SpaceX and have attended two Integrated Flight Test launches, with plans to continue improving my images from future events.

With help from my son, I am building this online shop as a way to share my photography more widely. My hope is simple: to offer photographs that bring beauty, interest, and a sense of place into your home or office — images you would be proud to hang and enjoy.
